The Hands of Christ in the heart of Lacey
This is from a letter that Mike Flothe received. How great Thou art!
Dear Ma’am,
Greeting you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I hope you and your family are in good health upon reading this letter of mine.
As of me and Joan we are in good conditions due to guidance of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I already received the financial support for the month of August and also with the $160 for the roof. Our financial support I used again to buy food for Joan and the rest of the amount I used it to my daily needs. The money for the roof I put into savings for the meantime, because I can’t buy housing materials now because I don’t have enough. I need to change the wall because is already broken. It is not only the roof that I want to change, so that is why I need to renovate the house maybe this coming December. I will start to renovate the house if I have enough money for the materials. I’m always praying for Financial aid for the housing materials. I pray for another $500.
Thanks to God, you are still there and help me. Thank you very much to you ma’am for your understanding and caring of me. I will never forget you in my life. And I want to extend my thanksgiving to all members of St. Benedict Episcopal Church for their kindness and goodness to us. It’s a big blessing to have a sponsor like you. I hope someday we see each other, I don’t know how. But, I’m still believe in if it is God’s will, He will make it happen. Nothing impossible to God. Like before ma’am, Marion and I don’t know each other, but God made a way and we met each other.
My regards to your family and to all members of St. Benedict. God Bless you all! I love you!

Dear Folks at St. Benedict,
Thank you so very much for the gift cards! They have already been disbursed! Some to a family with 3 boys who were sleeping on dirty mattresses on the floor! We have gotten them new beds and your cards will buy sheets and some new clothes for these boys. Other cards went to a couple for food for a trip to Houston to get succession papers signed so that they can sell the gutted house of their mother—she is never returning to New Orleans, they have returned from their trip, papers signed! Some cards went to another mom who needed school uniforms for her kids. (All schools here require uniforms.) This extra expense in the fall is a hardship for poor families. Your gift cards REALLY HELP!
Many thanks again for your kindness.
