Where is the Vicar

As you may already know, this past summer our Bishop’s Committee performed with me a Mutual Ministry Review Process. This document details the areas of ministry and who is responsible for ensuring that the work of the church gets done. One of the gifts that this document gave to me was that it clarified ministry for me in this church. Because of this wonderful clarity, I have been able to devise a schedule for myself so that I can best serve this community and use my time efficiently. Of course, given the reality of emergencies, this schedule is, of course flexible and subject to change:

Mondays: Generally I am in the office and available for appointments or calls

Tuesdays: Pastoral Care Appointments: I am using Tuesdays to visit parishioners are unable to come to church on Sundays or are in need of a visit at the hospital

Wednesdays: Eucharist and discussion group day!  Lacey and I also meet this day to talk about the week ahead  I am also available for appointments in the afternoon.

Thursdays: Study day  I am generally not available on Thursdays as I use them to study, reflect and prepare for Sundays.

Fridays & Saturdays: are generally my days off.
