Since 1990.

The 10:00 a.m. 

Why are you interested in serving on the BC?

I am deeply committed to the work of the Church in the world and particularly in assisting in the enactment of St. Benedict’s vision. I served in leadership positions in complex organizations for a number of years. I developed some skills that may be of use to the BC. 

What ministries have you helped with in your time as a member?

Landscape for 9 years, Centering Prayer for 14 years, David Alkins Scholarship Committee one term, Outreach Discernment Committee from inception to project completion, art projects with Brentwood clients for 2 summer sessions, van driver for community dinners since March 2007, a sponsor for Baptismal & Confirmation candidates and have operated the sound board for the 8 a.m. service for 3 years. 

If you could have leadership in any area of ministry at St. Benedict, which area of ministry would you want to serve and why?

Continuing to lead Centering Prayer. This group provides a contemplative dimension to worship[ for those congregation members so inclines. I am willing to review the needs in other areas of ministry to see where I might be of service.
