The Hands of Christ in the heart of Lacey
When I moved to Lacey from Tacoma almost six years ago, I began the search for a new church home. It didn't take long: from the first visit to St. Benedict's, I knew that here was a welcoming, lovely, lively congregation. I have been a member since 2003, and was elected to serve on the Bishop's Committee last year. This has been a rewarding experience so far; the folks with whom I serve are just a wonderful group, and we "click". In addition to being the Bishop's Committee liaison for the Newcomers Committee, I am a greeter, a lay reader, and an occasional prayer writer.
As a retired English teacher, I enjoy reading, and also love traveling and interacting with my grandchildren. I have nine, and they range in age from 23 to two months! Don't get me started!
